Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has been spending time in London recently, with the Argentine reconnecting with former Blaugrana team-mate Cesc Fabregas.

As can be seen below, the four-time Ballon d’Or winner was spotted dining in a restaurant in Harrods along with the current Chelsea midfielder.

Messi and Fabregas are friends through their time together at Camp Nou, with the Spain international spending two seasons in the Catalan club’s first-team squad recently before returning to England with the West London club.

The London Evening Standard suggests that the pair were also spotted at an exclusive Mayfair casino, where they were joined by former Barca and Chelsea midfielder Deco.

Messi has been in incredible form this season, scoring a hat-trick at the weekend to fire Luis Enrique’s men to the top of the La Liga table.

The treble was enough to see the South American set a new record for the number of hat-tricks scored by one player in Spanish football history.

Messi has netted 18 goals in all competitions since the turn of the year and is clearly focussed on trying to deliver silverware at Camp Nou this season.
