Micky Hazard has taken to social networking site Twitter to state that Tottenham Hotspur should not be afraid of Manchester United on Sunday.
The North London outfit will head into the game on the back of a 2-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers away from home, their second win in a row in the league.
Meanwhile, United slipped up at home to Arsenal on Monday, going down 2-1 to the Gunners in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
The Red Devils’ performances of late have not been convincing, and they once again struggled at Old Trafford on Monday.
Former Tottenham midfielder Hazard was following the game, and he was far from impressed with Louis van Gaal’s team’s display.
Not the best game I've ever watched and certainly nothing to be afraid of on Sunday, United a shadow of former teams COYS— Micky Hazard (@1MickyHazard) March 9, 2015
While Tottenham will head to Old Trafford on Sunday full of confidence, they should not get complacent.
United will be determined to get back to winning ways and maintaining their challenge for a top-four finish in the Premier League this season.
With their only realistic chance of winning silverware this campaign gone with the defeat to Arsenal, the Manchester outfit will now get to focus entirely on the league.
