Arsenal booked their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup with a 2-1 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday.
It was a brilliant performance from the Gunners, who deservedly won the quarter-final tie at the home of their arch-rivals.
One of the Arsenal attacking players who stood out was Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who started the clash and played for 51 minutes.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was actually forced to take off the England international due to an injury, but during his time on the pitch, the 21-year-old was superb.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was a constant menace to the United defenders and looked dangerous whenever he had the ball.
It was the youngster who was the creator of Arsenal’s first goal, his lovely footwork setting up Nacho Monreal inside the United penalty box.
The former Southampton youngster created two chances, had a pass accuracy of 78.6%, won two headers, attempted five dribbles, made one clearance, and took 27 touches during the 51 minutes he was on the pitch.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, who can play both out wide and centrally, is one of the best young attacking players in the Premier League, and his performance against United impressed two youngsters.
Former Arsenal prospect Kristoffer Olsson, who is currently at FC Midtjylland, and Newcastle United attacker Adam Campbell were following Monday’s game, and they made the following posts on social networking site Twitter about Oxlade-Chamberlain:
