Leeds United's centre-back pairing of Sol Bamba and Giuseppe Bellusci is looking like a hugely effective one from their performances together so far.
Bamba and Bellusci have played five games together and during that time Leeds have conceded just one goal (against Ipswich Town).
It shows just how well the pair work together, with their styles complementing each other's perfectly at the heart of Leeds' defence.
Bamba is the more capable of the two in one-on-one defending. He wins his aerial battles and is willing to throw his body in front of opposition shots to protect his side's goal.
Bellusci, on the other hand, is the more stylish of the pair. The Italian is a capable defender, but he is also comfortable with the ball at his feet and it means that he covers for Bamba's main weakness well.
The Ivory Coast international defender has a lot of strengths, but it is no secret that he isn't the most gifted technically.
Bamba can look unorthodox in possession, but he is clearly benefitting from playing alongside someone like Bellusci who can bring the ball out from defence.
The fact that the pair have made such an impressive start together suggests that they could form a really important partnership for Leeds between now and the end of the season.
Bamba and Bellusci will still be learning each other's games and they should become even stronger as the campaign goes on.
It means that Redfearn's men now have a solid foundation to build upon and they will be relying on Bamba and Bellusci to maintain their current standards to help the side keep their current run of good form going.
