The West Ham United squad is in Dubai at the moment.

Frederic Kanoute has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at meeting up with the West Ham United squad on Sunday.

The West Ham players have taken advantage of the FA Cup weekend to go for a warm weather training camp in Dubai, where they were visited by Kanoute, who scored 29 goals in 84 Premier League appearances for the club between 2000 and 2003.

Sam Allardyce’s side are currently going through a bad spell, and the West Ham manager will hope that training in Dubai does them some good.

The Hammers are currently 10th in the Premier League table with 39 points from 28 matches, as many as 12 points behind fifth-placed Liverpool.

West Ham have not won a league game since January 18, and chances of a European finish are pretty much gone now.

Last week the London outfit did step up their game against Chelsea at home, but they lost by a single Eden Hazard goal.

West Ham are back in action on Saturday when they contest yet another London derby, this time against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
