With a 2-0 advantage from the first leg in Germany, despite a dip in La Liga form recently, Real Madrid can be pretty confident of making it through to the next round of the Champions League.
Should they navigate their way safely past Schalke on Wednesday night at the Santiago Bernabéu, Real Madrid will progress to the last eight of the competition, the quarter-finals, or "cuartos" in Spanish.
Unfortunately for Real Madrid goalkeeper and captain, Iker Casillas, he got his rounds a little mixed up on Monday, as his team finalised their preparations for Tuesday's game.
"We're ready to secure our passage to the last sixteen..." Tweeted the Spain international, muddling "octavos" (round of sixteen) with "cuartos" (quarter-finals), as he expressed his confidence Real Madrid can finish the job against Schalke. Indeed, it's the quarter-finals his team will reach with a victory.
Casillas did, however, later correct his mistake, although it had already done the rounds on social media.
Despite his error, Casillas also took the time to welcome the return of Croatian star Luka Modric, who manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed will be in the squad for the game and should get to participate as a second half substitute.
"The return of Luka is great news for this phase..." added Casillas, clearly glad to see his team-mate back in training and ready to play, following his lengthy injury lay-off.
