Here is the Leeds United under-21 side for their match against Huddersfield this afternoon.
Leeds United under-21s: Grimes, Coyle, Killock, Del Fabro, Denton, Purver, Phillips, Adryan, Dawson, Walters, Montenegro
Subs: Atkinson, Coker, Booker, Skelton, Parkin
Leeds United’s under-21 side have a great chance to improve their position in the Professional Development League as they take on Huddersfield Town.
It’s a great chance for the youngsters on display and the first team fringe players to grab the attention of Leeds boss Neil Redfearn.
Redfearn’s role with the academy means he’s always looking out for the next youngster to make an impression and place pressure on him for a role in the first team.
Dario Del Fabro and Adryan have both tasted first team football under Redfearn already this season and should be eager to get that opportunity back.
Leeds are currently six points off the lead in the Northern section of the PDL, but they have played fewer games than some of the sides above them in the table.
The defence seems to be the best area of the team at the moment, as no side has conceded fewer goals from all games played so far.
