Tottenham and Manchester United linked Gokhan Tore going nowhere this summer, according to club

Gokhan Tore is not set to leave Turkey this summer.

Besiktas winger Gokhan Tore is certainly believed to be a wanted commodity. The former Chelsea youngster has been in exceptional form for the Turkish side this season and is rightly getting interest from around Europe. Including the Premier League, according to some reports.

At the start of this month the Daily Star reported that Tottenham Hotspur wanted to sign him. They said Spurs were looking into a move for the 23-year-old, who had impressed against Spurs in the Europa League.

In January, The Mirror reported that Manchester United were also interested in his signature.

So with Tottenham and United reportedly keen on the player, the Istanbul club have now had to bat off the speculation regarding his future.

The club's manager Slaven Bilic has told Ironi Haber that there is very little chance of the Turkish international heading out of the club:

"He is here for the long term we think. This player is one that we certainly do not consider to sell. Whether anyone would want a player like Gokhan, we do not buy it.

"We could spend the money to fill his place. But we are a thinking long-term. We will play our upcoming season in the Vodafone Arena and Gokhan, in front of our rans, will be effective. We certainly will not sell him."

Tore has scored just six goals this season in 33 appearances but it is his work rate and creativity that has seen him catch the eye in performances for the Turkish side.

While links with Manchester United and Tottenham always seemed slightly spurious, it now seems that the Turkish side are making it clear that Tore is going nowhere, regardless.
