Tottenham Hotspur fans react on Twitter to Kyle Walker’s performance against Queens Park Rangers

Kyle Walker failed to make a good impression on the Tottenham Hotspur fans during Saturday’s Premier League clash against Queens Park Rangers.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to express their frustrations with Kyle Walker.

The 24-year-old defender is a first-choice regular under manager Mauricio Pochettino and has featured in 12 Premier League appearances since his return from a long-term injury this season.

In those league matches, the right-back has not scored a single goal and has created just 11 chances, although he has a pass accuracy of 83% and has won 58% of the duels.

Walker also made three appearances in the Europa League this campaign, creating four chances and winning 70% of his duels, while having a pass accuracy of 82%.

Although Pochettino seems to favour the England international, the Tottenham fans are losing patience with him.

Walker had another disappointing game on Saturday, when Tottenham took on Queens Park Rangers away from home in the London derby.

The former Sheffield United man created a good chance for teammate Harry Kane with a brilliant cross, but he almost allowed QPR forward Charlie Austin to score with a bad back-header.

Walker was beaten too easily at times in the Premier League encounter, although he also did well to keep up with Matt Phillips when he got in behind the back line in the second half.

Overall, it was a disappointing performance from Walker, who was strongly criticised by the Tottenham fans on Twitter, as shown below.
