Tottenham Hotspur got the better of Queens Park Rangers 2-1 at Loftus Road in the Premier League on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur maintained their challenge for a place in the top four of the Premier League this season with a 2-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers away from home on Saturday.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side headed into the clash at Loftus Road on the back of a 3-2 home win against Swansea City and were favourites to win.

England Under-21 international Harry Kane was once again the hero for Spurs, scoring both the goals against QPR.

The 21-year-old striker opened the scoring in the 34th minute when he headed home from an Andros Townsend free kick.

Then midway through the second half, the youngster made it 2-0 after latching onto a through-ball from Ryan Mason.

Although former Tottenham midfielder Sandro halved the deficit for QPR 15 minutes from time, it did not have any effect on the final outcome of the match.

Tottenham ended the game with 63% of the possession, 13 shots of which six were on target, and five corners.

Chris Ramsey’s QPR had 37% of the possession, 17 shots of which six were on target, and three corners.

Below are the best pictures of the match, featuring Kane and Sandro.
