Liverpool round-up: Early team news; player’s £3m mansion plans published

Welcome To Anfield

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Liverpool

Liverpool take on Blackburn Rovers later today in the FA Cup quarter-final.

The Championship side have already eliminated Swansea City and Stoke City in this season’s competition so the Reds will not be taking them lightly.

In early team news, the BBC reports that Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard could return to the side after missing a run of matches due to injury.

Josh King is unavailable for Blackburn after picking up a hamstring injury – a huge blow considering his hat-trick in the previous round.

However, on-loan defender Doneil Henry is being tipped to feature.

In other news, the Daily Star has published a story regarding Gerrard’s alleged new £3million mansion, with what they say are the plans for the property.

It is claimed the player intends to live there full-time once his playing career in the MLS comes to an end.

The player will leave Liverpool at the end of the season before starting a spell at LA Galaxy.
