John Bostock full of praise for Tottenham Hotspur’s Ryan Mason

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder John Bostock was impressed with Ryan Mason’s performance against Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League on Saturday.

John Bostock has been been singing the praises of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason on social networking site Twitter.

Mason is enjoying a breakthrough season at Spurs this campaign and has established himself as one of the best players in the team.

The 23-year-old is a mainstay in the Tottenham midfield and is one of the first names on the teamsheet when fit.

In 21 Premier League appearances so far this season, Mason has scored one goal and created 19 chances, while having a pass accuracy of 82% and a shot accuracy of 43%.

The midfielder was once again in good form on Saturday, when Tottenham took on Queens Park Rangers away form home in the league.

Mason had one shot, 86% pass accuracy, created one chance, put two crosses, won 63% of the tackles and 75% of the headers, made one interception, three clearances and one block.

Former Tottenham man Bostock, who was rated highly when he was younger, was following the match, and he was impressed with Mason’s performance and posted the following message on Twitter:

The 2-1 win against QPR in the London derby at Loftus Road on Saturday has lifted Tottenham up to sixth in the Premier League table with 50 points from 28 matches, just three points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.
