Derby County were held to a 2-2 draw with Birmingham City at home in the Championship on Saturday.
The Rams headed into the clash at the iPro Stadium on the back of two successive defeats, but many would have considered them favourites to pick up the three points.
Steve McClaren's side looked good for a win until injury time when they conceded twice, much to the agony of the fans.
Jamie Ward opened the for the hosts in the 20th minute after Johnny Russell's effort was palmed away by Darren Randolph.
Thomas Ince doubled Derby’s advantage three minutes into the second half when he found the target after he was released into the Birmingham box by Russell.
Everything seemed to be going fine for automatic promotion-chasing Derby, but they slipped up in the final minutes of the encounter.
Paul Caddis halved the deficit from the penalty box after Demerai Gray was brought down inside the Rams’ 18-yard box, and Clayton Donaldson scored a dramatic equaliser.
The draw means that Derby are now second in the Championship table with 66 points from 36 matches, level on points with leaders Bournemouth but with an inferior goal difference.
After the match, Derby fans took to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the late collapse on the team.
Below are the best reactions:
Not bothered who they are, if they play for us i'll support them and encourage them. Don't like to see individual players singled out #dcfc— StuartF (@sjforsyth) March 8, 2015
Cant defend #DCFC for that collapse at the end but that referee was a disgrace today— tom hawkins (@rossitom) March 7, 2015
@dcfcofficial 3 games in a row I think stuff like this has been said, when is it going to actually happen??— Karl Cook (@CookieDCFC93) March 7, 2015
