The Bhoys manager Ronny Deila thinks Nir Biton should be fine despite his injury v Dundee United.
Celtic drew their Scottish Cup match with Dundee United at Tannadice earlier today. It was a game littered by refereeing errors and a generally bad tempered attitude to the game.
Three players were sent off in the game and Dundee United scored from the spot in a game unfortunately marred by poor officiating.
Leigh Griffiths scored the equaliser, after Nadir Ciftci scored on the brink of half-time.
So Celtic now have to deal with an upcoming replay, just after clearing their busy schedule.
What they don't need is another injury. However, Israeli midfielder Nir Biton limped off the pitch late in the game with an injury.
The 23 year-old midfield operator showed more good form this afternoon but seemed to be in some discomfort in the latter stages of today's game.
Celtic fans would however be pleased to hear that the club's boss Ronny Deila does not seem to feel that the injury is too serious.
He told the press after the game, as reported on the club's official Twitter account, that the injury is not as serious as feared:
RD on Nir Bitton: "Hopefully he's in good shape. We don't yet. He twisted his ankle but we'll see how bad it is during the week." (MH)— Celtic Football Club (@celticfc) March 8, 2015
He has been a regular feature in recent weeks and Celtic fans will be hoping Deila's initial assessment is accurate.
