Darren Fletcher moved to West Bromwich Albion in the January transfer window after leaving Manchester United.

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has been singing the praises of Darren Fletcher in The Sun.

Scotland international midfielder Fletcher joined the Baggies on a free transfer in the January transfer window after leaving Manchester United.

The 31-year-old has already made himself an important player for West Brom, making five appearances in the Premier League.

In those matches, Fletcher has created two chances and has a pass accuracy of 78%, while winning 47% of the duels.

Pulis has been impressed with the former United star and has highlighted how much he is involved with the team.

“He’s been fantastic,” the West Brom boss told The Sun. “He’s a proper old-fashioned player.

“He looks after the dressing room. There is not that many people around in the game today who are proper characters.

“He just loves football. He is well into the video analysis. Everything we do in reviewing matches and preparing the team, he wants to know about it. The group love him.”

Fletcher seems to have integrated well into the West Brom team, and it bodes for the club this season as well as the next.

The midfielder was never one of the best players in the Premier League, but his hard work and commitment is very encouraging.

The Scotsman has loads of experience and will be looking to reignite his career. West Brom are the best club for him to do that, and it seems that Fletcher is loving life at The Hawthorns.
