A young Leeds United player has celebrated the club's latest under-18 victory.

Leeds United youngster Liam Bennett took to Twitter on Saturday to express his happiness following the under-18s' victory against their Huddersfield counterparts.

Leeds’ young side won 3-0 courtesy of goals from Tommy Lyman, Frank Mulhern and Robbie McDaid.

The latter was recently crowned the Ulster Herald’s Young Sports Personality of the Year for 2014 and he celebrated the right way, adding another goal to his tally.

After the match, 18-year-old Bennett was quick to celebrate, writing, “Another great home win 3-0 against Huddersfield this morning; all the boys were quality and in a nice run of form, well done boys.”

Leeds have blooded a number of young players this season with great success and the likes of McDaid and Bennett will surely be hoping to one day join them in Neil Redfearn’s senior side.

While Leeds have had a mixed campaign both on and off the pitch, their academy continues to produce excellent prospects and that can only bode well for the future.
