Townsend had an exceptional time at Loftus Road in 2013.
Of course there are plenty of former Tottenham players in the QPR team, including the likes of Steven Caulker, Sandro and Adel Taarabt.
There is also a former QPR player in the Spurs ranks - one who owes a lot to the club.
Before heading out on loan to QPR in 2013, Andros Townsend was a nearly man of the Tottenham first-team. He had been out on eight different loan spells prior to joining The Hoops, each with varying degrees of success.
However, at QPR he was magnificent. His pace, skill and direct attitude saw him tear Premier League defences apart for five months, before heading back to Spurs a wanted commodity.
Since then he has cemented himself within the Tottenham first-team picture and what's more, has also been capped by England - six times, scoring twice.
It would certainly not be an understatement to suggest that Townsend's career turned around after his time at Loftus Road and he will be excited to play at the ground once again.
