That means a potential reunion for many of the QPR players with former team-mates.
With the Harry Redknapp and now Chris Ramsey link between both sides, there was always going to be a fair few ex-Tottenham players in the QPR ranks.
One such player is Brazilian Sandro. He returned from a knee injury against Arsenal at the weekend and looked impressive. However, he came off in that game and is considered a doubt for a face up with his former club. Adel Taarabt, another player who fell foul at Tottenham, is injured.
But three other former Spurs players should be on show.
Niko Kranjcar spent three years at White Hart Lane between 2009 and 2012 before heading off to Ukraine with Dynamo Kiev.
He is currently on a second season-long loan at Loftus Road and will be hoping to get one over on his former employers today.
Then there is Steven Caulker. The centre-back, who has struggled for form this season, was not a guaranteed starter in the Spurs side in 2012-13, but he was regular enough. He left for Cardiff City in 2013 and after their relegation last term, joined up with QPR in the summer.
Last but not least, Bobby Zamora may also make an appearance against his former employers. He had perhaps the least memorable stint at Spurs, scoring once in 18 forgettable appearances for the club and being sent on his way after just one season.
All of these Tottenham cast-offs will be hoping to get one over on their former club today.
