Confirmed: Nottingham Forest v Middlesbrough line-ups

Forest City Ground

Here is how Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough will line up for this afternoon’s match:

Nottingham Forest starting XI: Darlow; Kane, Lascelles, Wilson, Lichaj; Gardner, Mancienne, Lansbury; Antonio, Burke, Blackstock.

Nottingham Forest subs: De Vries, Collins, Vaughan, Osborn, Paterson, Veldwijk, Walker

Middlesbrough starting XI: Konstantopoulos; Fredericks, Kalas, Gibson, Friend; Adomah, Leadbitter, Clayton, Tomlin, Bamford; Kike.

Middlesbrough subs: Ripley, Whitehead, Vossen, Reach, Nsue, Forshaw, Woodgate

Nottingham Forest will look to get back to winning ways this afternoon as they face Middlesbrough at the City Ground.

Forest had enjoyed an unbeaten start to Dougie Freedman's reign as manager, winning five of his first six games and drawing the other before Tuesday night's defeat to Charlton Athletic.

Freedman has handed a start to Michael Mancienne, but it appears that the former Chelsea defender will be playing in midfield alongside Gary Gardner and Henri Lansbury.

Opponents Boro have been inconsistent in the last five games, winning two, losing two and drawing one, but remain in the automatic promotion places - making wins crucial at this stage of the season.

Manager Aitor Karanka has plenty of attacking firepower in his side today, with Albert Adomah, Lee Tomlin, Patrick Bamford and Kike all in the starting line-up.
