Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere was not happy with the referee’s decision to send off Jack Grealish in the FA Cup tie between Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has taken to social networking Twitter to reveal his displeasure at the dismissal of Jack Grealish during tonight’s FA Cup tie.

Aston Villa midfielder Grealish was sent off in injury time in tonight’s quarter-final against West Bromwich Albion at Villa Park.

The 19-year-old came on as a substitute for Charles N’Zogbia in the 74th minute of the tie and earned his first booking on 87 minutes for committing a foul on Callum McManaman.

Then in the third minute of injury time, Grealish was shown a second yellow card for simulation.

England international Wilshere was following the game, and he was not pleased with the referee’s decision on the second yellow card.

The 23-year-old posted the following message on Twitter to make his opinion clear:

The sending-off of Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Grealish, though, did not affect the final result.

Villa won the tie 2-0 at home to book their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at London’s Wembley Stadium.
