The England under-21 forward has recorded 16 shots on target this year, five more than his nearest rival.
It has been a wonderful season for Tottenham forward Harry Kane, who has taken his chance in the club’s first team with two hands and proven himself as a deadly finisher.
With 14 Premier League goals this season so far, the England under-21 striker has become essential for the North London club and their efforts to finish in the top four.
Kane’s finishing has been heavily praised this season, with the youngster seemingly only needing half an opening to find the back of the net.
Since the turn of the year, the Spurs hotshot has recorded more shots on target than any other Premier League player, as can be seen below.

Working the opposition goalkeeper on 16 occasions is significantly more than his nearest competition and shows Kane’s accuracy when given a chance to potentially score.
Given that he has scored nine goals in the Premier League in 2015, it shows that the striker is not simply shooting from range to get his stats up but is regularly finding himself in excellent positions to hit the back of the net.
The 21-year-old is in contention to finish the campaign as the Premier League’s top goalscorer, as he has only netted three fewer strikes than Diego Costa and Sergio Aguero.
