A round up of news stories this morning related to Tottenham Hotspur.

Former Spurs midfielder Sandro has suggested to the Daily Express that QPR can get a win against Tottenham this weekend.

The Beast is looking forward to playing against his former employers and feels his current side have an advantage heading into the match.

“I am looking forward to Tottenham - We have got a chance because we are playing at home - I know Spurs very well. They have changed,” he said.

Tottenham will head into the game as slight favourites considering their superior league position over Chris Ramsey’s team.

England boss Roy Hodgson has hinted to the Daily Mail that Harry Kane was in his thoughts before his fine run of form.

Kane has been Tottenham’s in form striker this season with 24 goals across all competitions so far.

However, Hodgson has suggested that the forward had impressed him with his performances in the England under-21 setup.

“He's scoring goals for one of our top teams in the Premier League but I know him anyway, he's done a lot of good work for the Under-21s,” said Hodgson.

The Daily Mail has reported that the Tottenham squad will be off to Australia at the end of the season to play against Sydney FC.

The friendly is taking place as part of the club’s attempts to increase their appeal to a wider global audience.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino feels it’s a good chance for Tottenham supporters down under to watch the side up close.
