Kyle Walker-Peters was one player to catch the eye as Tottenham Hotspur beat Chelsea in the FA Youth Cup.

The youngster was involved throughout as Spurs won the semi-final first leg 2-0, in front of watching head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Walker-Peters posed a threat with his crossing, testing Chelsea's defenders right into the latter stages of the game.

Goals from Josh Onomah and Kazaiah Sterling gave Spurs the win, with the second leg at Stamford Bridge taking place in a fortnight's time.

Walker-Peters scored in the fourth round clash against Wolves earlier in the competition, and the 17-year-old has been a key part of their run in the competition.

The England under-18 international has also been featuring for Tottenham's under-21s this season, playing seven times recording one assist.

He was not the only Tottenham player to catch the eye, but his performance certainly got Spurs fans talking, with some even using Twitter to claim they felt he was at first team level already.

Playing so well in front of Pochettino will help his cause, but there is plenty of work still to do in the Youth Cup alone. Chelsea will be a dangerous proposition in front of their own fans, and won't want to let go of the trophy they are defending without a fight.
