The midfielder scored an excellent free-kick for Leeds v Ipswich this week.
Leeds United rediscovered that winning feeling in midweek. After two defeats on the bounce at the hands of Brighton and Watford they put play-off chasing Ipswich Town to the sword at Elland Road.
They won the game 2-1, with Billy Sharp winning them the game after Freddie Sears equalised just three minutes after the opening goal was scored.
But the opening goal of the game was probably the best on show. Leeds midfielder Alex Mowatt scored it in the 71st minute. He struck an absolutely superb free-kick beyond Ipswich stopper Bartosz Bialkowski to get Elland Road jumping on a chilly Wednesday night.
It was his seventh goal of the season as the 20-year-old continued his excellent campaign as a mainstay in the Leeds United first-team.
Yesterday evening he posted on his Instagram page a celebration image of the goal, with the caption 'that feeling' to accentuate how pleased he was to have scored a terrific goal for his club:
Leeds United fans will be hoping he carries on his excellent form when they take on relegation dog-fighters Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
