West Ham United youngster Doneil Henry will play on loan for Blackburn Rovers until April 6.

Doneil Henry joined Blackburn Rovers on a one-month loan deal from West Ham United on Wednesday, as confirmed on the London club's official website on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old moved to Premier League outfit West Ham on a permanent basis in the January transfer window, but he has yet to make a single appearance in the league for the Hammers.

The youngster is highly rated and made a good name for himself while playing for Toronto FC in Major League Soccer.

Henry has earned 14 caps for the Canada national team and is said to have a bright future ahead of him.

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce, though, seems to believe that Henry still is not ready for the first team, thus the club’s decision to allow him to move on loan to Championship club Blackburn Rovers.

Following the announcement of the Henry loan move, West Ham fans took to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the matter.
