Tottenham defender Danny Rose had an impressive game against Swansea.
Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose had a particularly impressive game as he helped the club to a win over Swansea City.
Rose set up the first goal for Nacer Chadli in the seventh minute of the game with an inch-perfect cross, a real strong point of his evening.
The left-back was Tottenham's best performing player on the night according to Opta powered website whoscored.com, which rated his performance an 8.4/10.
Rose managed to create four goalscoring opportunities in total, completing 80 per cent of his overall passes.
Three weeks ago the defender was picking up flak after giving away a penalty against Liverpool at Anfield, but mistakes like that are becoming rarer for the left-back, who has managed to remain as first choice for Mauricio Pochettino despite the summer signing of Ben Davies.
Defensively Rose managed to make four tackles, a higher number than any of his fellow defenders, also making one interception and two clearances.
He was substituted in the 77th minute with the score at 3-1, and wasn't involved in the frantic battle at the end to keep hold of the three points after Gylfi Sigurdsson had pulled one back for the visitors.
His performance won plenty of praise, here is a look at a selection of it via Twitter...
I think we have to put Rose alongside the likes of Kane, Mason and Bentaleb this season. #COYS— hotSPURS (@quaium) March 4, 2015

Danny Rose is playing really well so far. Calm and strong on the ball. And a wonderful assist in the goal. #coys— Andy Palmquist (@palmquac) March 4, 2015
For someone I have given a lot of stick to, Rose has put in some performances this season. Fair play. #COYS— Graham Shannahan (@FuzzyCoyote) March 4, 2015
