Some seem to be enjoying it ... others, are not friendly with the cold.
It is FA Cup weekend coming up and for many a Premier League team that means a welcome break from proceedings.
With that in mind many a team takes the opportunity to go out on a training camp to warmer climates, where they can play some quality football on lush green pitches without a pothole in site. West Ham for instance are on their way to the Middle East.
But for Southampton, it is a different story.
It would appear that their manager Ronald Koeman wants to perhaps toughen his players up a bit, as he has taken them to the cold climbs of Davos in the Swiss Alps.
The trip is being called a team-building exercise by the club, with no football training actually possible in the snow filled town.
The manager himself seemed chuffed to bits to be out in the cold, sending out this Tweet earlier today.
The players, their reaction has been mixed.
Southampton will be hoping the trip helps them get into the top four by the season's end.
