Leeds United defender Liam Cooper has praised two of his teammates for their performances against Ipswich Town.
Leeds beat Ipswich 2-1 with Sharp and Mowatt on the scoresheet and Cooper was certainly impressed by the performances the attacking duo put in.
Cooper said that the pair were 'on fire' and he expressed his delight at being able to claim an important three points.
Leeds' win shows how far they have progressed recently, as they beat another of the Championship promotion hopefuls.
The Whites had looked to be in relegation trouble, but their impressive run of results since the turn of the year has seen them establish a 13-point gap on the bottom three and they can surely start to relax now.
Ipswich have been in good form this campaign, but they couldn't match Leeds over the 90 minutes at Elland Road, despite an action-packed second half.
Leeds took the lead through Mowatt, but they were immediately pegged back when Freddie Sears fired in for the visitors.
That could have been a hammer blow for the hosts, who had chucked away a lead against Watford in their last fixture, but they responded well and Sharp's finish restored their advantage.
They then had to hold on for the remainder of the contest, with Ipswich even missing a penalty, but the three points were well earned and it was a victory which keeps spirits high around Elland Road.
