Ronny Deila says that Celtic are hopeful Kris Commons will be available for their match against Dundee United on Sunday.
Commons missed out on playing in the Bhoys' match against St. Johnstone last night with injury, but Deila hopes to have him back soon.
"We hope to have Kris Commons available for Sunday's game, but we will have to wait and see how he is tomorrow," he said in the Glasgow Evening Times.
Deila: Celtic lacked fight
Ronny Deila feels that Celtic lacked the necessary fight required to win in their game against St. Johnstone last night.
The Bhoys lost 1-0 in front of their own fans and Deila was fuming with his team's performance, feeling their desire to be victorious was lacking.
"Every time we play in Scotland we are favourites and today we lacked fight," Deila admitted to the Daily Record.
“We didn’t fight enough even though we started the game quite well."
Swanson nearly missed out
St. Johnstone manager Tommy Wright says that goalscoring hero Danny Swansea was nearly unavailable for their game against Celtic last night.
Swanson scored a belter to provide the Saints with three points, but he had been feeling unwell earlier in the day and recovered just in time to play a part.
"He was not feeling well this morning and he was doubtful for the game," Wright said in the Glasgow Evening Times.
