Adrian and Cresswell react on Twitter to West Ham's defeat last night

West Ham United duo Adrian and Aaron Cresswell were both pleased with how the side performed against Chelsea.

West Ham United's Aaron Cresswell and Adrian were both happy with the Hammers' performance last night against Chelsea, even if they ended up having nothing to show for it.

West Ham competed well with Chelsea for the entirety of their match yesterday, but they were unable to stop themselves from finishing up on the wrong end of a 1-0 scoreline.

It was a disappointing way for the match to end, but Cresswell and Adrian were both on a reflective mood on social media site Twitter after the match.

West Ham gave Chelsea a real scare in the match, but their wastefulness in-front of goal was ultimately to blame for their defeat.

Diafra Sakho was particularly guilty of missing a number of clear-cut opportunities and Chelsea are too good a team to pass up chances against.

In the end an Eden Hazard goal separated the two sides, with the Belgian heading home in the first-half, but West Ham will still be buoyed by their display.

The Hammers have been in poor form of late, but if they keep performing to these sort of standards they will start picking up points again and climbing back up the table.
