Birmingham City handed Nottingham Forest owned Robert Tesche his debut for the club last night and he didn’t disappoint in a 1-0 win against Blackpool.
The midfielder joined Birmingham on a loan deal until the end of the season and he wasted no time getting stuck in and making a difference for his new team.

Tesche produced a respectable passing accuracy over the course of the game and got on the ball 42 times.
That shows how effectively he protected possession over the course of the game and also shows that he’s intelligent in terms of finding pockets of space around the pitch where he can receive the ball.
However, arguably the most impressive contribution he made was his assist, which setup the victory and was his third overall.
He also made three key interceptions over the course of the game, which further supports the idea that he’s a very effective player in terms of how he reads the game to get into positions where he can make a difference.
Birmingham take on Derby this weekend where he’ll more than likely be looking to get one over on his parent club Forest’s main rivals.
