Leeds United youngsters Lewis Walters and Chris Dawson were delighted with the U21's victory over Crewe Alexandra earlier this afternoon.
The Whites beat Crewe 2-1 thanks to goals from Walters and Eoghan Stokes, as they picked up an impressive win which showed just how much quality they have in their ranks.
Crewe have one of the most talented academy sides in the country and for Leeds to beat them is a notable achievement for the Yorkshire outfit.
With Neil Redfearn in charge of the first-team, Leeds have placed great importance on giving their more promising prospects chances in the senior squad.
Redfearn used to run the academy and therefore knows the younger players well, with a number of academy graduates benefitting from his stewardship.
The likes of Lewis Cook, Charlie Taylor, Sam Byram and Alex Mowatt have all come through Leeds' youth-system to become first-team regulars and there will be plenty in their current under-21 set-up hoping to do the same.
With more wins like this they should be attracting the attention of Redfearn, and Walters and Dawson were certainly happy with their afternoon's work.
Here is the young duo's reaction to Leeds win on social media site Twitter:
