Leeds United and Ipswich Town will take on each other at Elland Road in the Championship tonight.
It promises to be an exciting game of football, and there will be a number of interesting duels.
Both are highly rated young players in the Championship, and both will be keen to turn on the style tonight.
Byram is a right-back by trade, but he has been playing as a right-winger in recent games and is likely to be deployed in that position against the Tractor Boys.
The 21-year-old Englishman will come up against Mings, who will start the encounter at left-back for Ipswich.
Mings is one of the better young players in the Championship, and the following Opta Stats table proves that.
|Goals Conceded||Error Lead To Goal||Error Lead To Shot||Clean Sheet||Total Tackles||Tackles Won||Total Clearances||Interceptions||Appearances||Mins Played|
Mings has not been directly responsible for any of the 30 goals that Ipswich have conceded while he was on the pitch, while he has won an impressive 51 of the 61 tackles he has made.
However, tonight Mings will face a tough challenge in keeping out Byram, who is one of the best young players in the Championship.
|Total Cross||Accurate Cross||Ball Recovery||Total Dribbles||Dribbles Won||Tackles Won||Duel Won||Key Passes||Appearances||Mins Played|
The numbers of Byram, as shown above in the Opta Stats table, are not hugely impressive from an attacking perspective, but one needs to remember that he has only started to play as a right-winger in recent weeks.
But even then, the fact that the youngster has given 29 key passes and won 154 duels is impressive, although his accuracy with crosses leaves much to be desired.
