Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin is wearing a mask to protect himself as the side take on QPR.
The Frenchman suffered a broken nose in the match against Everton at the weekend, and there had been some doubt immediately afterwards as to if he could be in for a spell on the sidelines.
He was a full participant in training a day ahead of the game, and retained his place in the side for the clash at Loftus Road.
Arsenal went into the game in third place, needing to win to keep their advantage over Manchester United who were in fourth.
Coquelin has emerged as a key midfielder for the Gunners in recent months after being recalled from a loan spell at Charlton Athletic, and he is needed with Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta out injured.
Jack Wilshere also remains sidelined, while Aaron Ramsey has returned and was named as a substitute against QPR.
