A round up of news stories this morning related to Manchester City.
FourFourTwo has reported that FC Schalke want to sign Nemanja Nastasic on a permanent deal.
The defender is currently on loan at the German club as it became clear he wasn’t going to get the opportunities he desired this season.
His current loan agreement with Schalke expires at the end of this season.
The forward has been plying his trade with Celtic in the Scottish Premier League on loan away from the club.
The paper reports that he will become a free agent at the end of the season and will subsequently be free to do as he pleases.
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has been quoted by the Irish Examiner explaining he doesn’t feel under any pressure.
City lost against Liverpool last weekend, which has given Chelsea the opportunity to pull further clear in the title race if they win their game in hand.
There has been speculation this week that the Chilean could be replaced, but he doesn’t feel that to be the case.
“I never have any pressure to win an amount of titles and to win a title every year if I want to continue here,” said the Chilean.
