Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal looks ahead to tomorrow’s Premier League clash against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has outlined to MUTV what he likes about Newcastle United.

The Red Devils will take on Newcastle at St. James’ Park in the Premier League tomorrow.

It will be a tough game for United, especially as they have not been playing well despite picking up points in recent weeks.

Moreover, John Carver’s Newcastle returned to winning ways at the weekend when they edged past Aston Villa 1-0 at home.

Van Gaal is under no illusion of the task he faces tomorrow, but he admits that he admires Newcastle for wanting to play football.

“Newcastle always play at a very high rhythm, exerting a lot of energy,” Van Gaal told MUTV. “They want to play football and I like that. Their fans always get behind the team so I’m expecting a very tough game.”

It will indeed be very difficult for United, especially as Newcastle always make things tough for the visiting teams.

Having returned to winning ways at the weekend, the Magpies will certainly aim to build on it, and what better way than to pick up all three points against United.

United will have to step up their game against Newcastle and must try to control the match right from the start.
