Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe has taken to social networking site Twitter to assure the club’s fans that he will return to action “stronger”.
The 19-year-old is currently on the sidelines with a knee injury which he sustained during Liverpool’s Europa League round-of-32 second-leg tie against Besiktas in Turkey last month.
Reds manager Brendan Rodgers has ruled out the youngster “for a few weeks”, but he has insisted that “it is not too serious”, according to Sky Sports.
Ibe has been superb for Liverpool since he was recalled from a loan spell at Championship outfit Derby County in January.
The teenager has created one chance in five Premier League appearances for the Merseyside outfit, while having a pass accuracy of 88% and a shot accuracy of 75%.
Ibe has now assured the Liverpool fans that he will return to action “stronger” than before.
Liverpool are currently fifth in the Premier League table with 48 points from 27 matches, just two points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.
The Reds are unbeaten in 11 league games and have won six of their last seven, while collecting 20 points in 2015.
