Celtic manager Ronny Deila has described in the Glasgow Evening Times a unique quality he sees in his current squad.
Deila has praised his team and has backed them for success, as they hunt multiple pieces of domestic silverware over the rest of the season.
“It is a lot about the fitness and the mentality of the players. We are good at switching on again and being focused, always ready for the next game,” said Deila.
“We don't dwell on what has happened more than we think about what is coming up.”
Celtic showed the quality Deila mentions over the weekend, with a heavy win against Aberdeen after a difficult result against Inter Milan in the Europa League last week.
It’s important the Bhoys react positively in similar situations over the rest of the season to ensure they don’t duffer any prolonged periods of poor form as they chase silverware on multiple fronts.
Hopefully for the Bhoys there won’t be too many occasions this season where they suffer setbacks. They already have a good advantage in the race for the SPL title and are well placed for domestic cup success.
The fitness levels of the current side are superb and allow the players to maintain their concentration late into intense games, even when there has been very little turnaround time between games.
Next up for Celtic is a match against St Johnstone and the opportunity to improve their lead in the SPL even further.
