Confirmed: Southampton v Crystal Palace line-ups - Djuricic starts

St Marys Southampton

Southampton host Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Southampton have a chance to pile on the pressure in the race for a Champions League spot by playing a day earlier than their rivals.

The Saints are in sixth place in the Premier League, and a win can take them temporarily above Liverpool into fifth.

They are coming off the back of two successive defeats and three games without a win, having lost to Liverpool, West Brom, and drawing with West Ham.

Crystal Palace meanwhile come into the game in confident manner, managed by former Saints boss Alan Pardew.

The Eagles earned an impressive 3-1 away win at West Ham at the weekend, but will be without two-goal hero Glenn Murray who was sent off late in the victory.

Palace are in 12th position in the Premier League, eight points clear of the relegation zone, and are now looking upwards.

They have lost only two of their last seven matches, most recently a 2-1 loss at home to Arsenal.
