Hull City KC Stadium at night

Here are the possible teams Hull City and Sunderland could select for the Premier League clash.

To be played on Tuesday 3rd March 2015 at 19:45. Venue: The KC Stadium, Hull

Odds: Hull City 15/13, Draw 23/10, Sunderland 31/10

Hull City suffered a setback in the Premier League over the weekend as they lost out to Stoke City.

They have a good chance to bounce back instantly this week, with an important match against Sunderland, which could go a long way to improving their Premier League survival chances.

Steve Bruce’s team aren’t in bad shape as things stand; four points above the bottom three and one point ahead of Gus Poyet’s side and they were playing some decent football before the loss against Mark Hughes’ team.

Sunderland are still searching for a much needed win under Gus Poyet, who will be keen for the side to focus on the positives during their 2-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United last weekend.

A win would take the pressure off of Poyet and give the side some confidence as well as the fans some belief that survival is a very realistic possibility.

Sunderland’s incentive is simple; win and the result leapfrogs the side over Hull in the table and it would be the first away win in the league since the victory against Newcastle last year.
