Celtic continued their march towards the Scottish Premiership title with a comprehensive victory over Aberdeen at home on Sunday.
Aberdeen are the Bhoys’ main challengers for the title this season, but Derek McInnes’s side were blown away 4-0 at Celtic Park.
Jason Denayer headed the hosts in front in the 37th minute, and Leigh Griffiths doubled the advantage from the penalty spot in the 63rd minute.
Gary Mackay-Steven made it 3-0 just six minutes later, and Stefan Johansen wrapped up the points with Celtic’s fourth 10 minutes from time.
The win means that defending Scottish champions Celtic are now six points clear at the top of the Premiership table with 63 points from 26 matches.
Celtic are in superb form in the Premiership at the moment and have won eight league games in a row.
Ronny Deila’s side have a goal difference of +43, and it is looking increasingly likely that they will win the Premiership yet again.
