Celtic’s newest signing warmed up for action with the Development Squad by taking part in a passing drill with the club’s captain Scott Brown on Monday.
19-year-old Scottish striker Jaison McGrath recently returned to Celtic Park having been released from former club Hamilton Academical.
McGrath was first on Celtic’s books as a youth, before moving to Premier League side Sunderland in 2012.
From there he moved back to Scotland, making six senior appearances for Hamilton before ultimately finding himself back where it all started.
The forward has previously represented Scotland at under-15, under-16 and under-17 level but he will be hoping to get his career back on track now he is back with the Hoops.
He started the under-20 match against their Aberdeen counterparts at Cappielow and he now has the perfect opportunity to prove he has what it takes to make it in the senior game,
Still only 19, he has time on his side and it will be interesting to see if he can play his way into first-team contention in what remains of this campaign.
