The Brazilian scored another screamer for Liverpool this afternoon.
Liverpool defeated Manchester City this afternoon, winning 2-1 against the reigning Premier League champions in a fantastic performance which had some excellent goals.
Liverpool slammed in two spectacular goals from Jordan Henderson and Philippe Coutinho to take the win.
That second goal gained plenty of reaction on Twitter.
Former Liverpool stopper Pepe Reina, now at Bayern Munich, Tweeted that he felt Coutinho was the club's player of the season so far. He has since deleted the Tweet but The Sport Review caught it before he did.
Meanwhile, one current Liverpool player only had one word for the fantastic strike.
Defender Andre Wisdom is currently on loan at West Bromwich Albion from Liverpool on a deal until the end of the season.
The youngster simply Tweeted this after the thunderbolt strike from the Brazilian playmaker:
Wowzer— andre wisdom (@andrewisdom47x) March 1, 2015
Coutinho has now added this magnificent strike to several others he has netted for Liverpool in recent weeks.
He banged in sensational winners against Bolton Wanderers in the FA Cup and got the ball rolling in a recent win at Southampton.
His form is helping Liverpool fly up the Premier League table, where they now sit just behind Manchester United in the Champions League places.
