Arsenal have found a new midfield hero this season in the shape of Francis Coquelin - and the Frenchman benefited from a loan spell with Championship side Charlton.
Manager Arsene Wenger isn't afraid to loan his young players out to Football League clubs, with Benik Afobe banging goals in for MK Dons before a permanent move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Now, it's Jon Toral's turn in the spotlight. The 20-year-old midfielder joined from Barcelona back in 2011, and naturally earned comparisons to Cesc Fabregas because of his position and move from Catalunya to North London.
Despite being highly rated, Toral has yet to make a first team appearance for Arsenal, and is now gaining experience with Brentford in the Championship.
The London outfit are faring well under Mark Warburton, and as the Bees bid to earn a play-off place, Toral is becoming an increasingly important player at Griffin Park.
In last week's 4-0 win over Blackpool, Toral smashed a remarkable hat-trick from midfield in a superb display from the Spaniard.
Now, Toral's exploits have been rewarded with a place in the official Football League team of the week, which recognises the very best performances over the past seven days - and Toral's surprise hat-trick made the cut.
With more performance like that, Toral will be knocking on Wenger's door for first team football next season.
