Adventure Time Movie In Development

Adventure Time

Oh My Glob! Warner Bros are working on an Adventure Time movie.

Everybody's favorite post nuclear kids TV show, Adventure Time, has been picked up by Warner Bros and is being developed into a feature length movie.

As most of you will know, Adventure Time follows the escapades of Finn, a twelve year old orphan boy, and his best friend Jake, a magical dog that can transform into pretty much anything. The two friends go on countless adventures to protect the magical land of Ooo from pesky monsters as well as saving the occasional Princess from the bumbling wizard Ice King.

Loved by children and adults alike we are sure that an Adventure Time movie will be totally math, especially if it maintains it's dark humour and clever surreal storyline.

The movie will be written by original creator Pendleton Ward and produced by Chris McKay (The Lego Movie, Robot Chicken, Moral Orel) and Roy Lee (The Lego Movie, The Ring, How To Train Your Dragon). Cartoon Network Studios who currently work on Adventure Time will also be part of the project.

Adventure Time is also famous for it's alternative and often experimental music so expect there to be plenty of new additions to the show's extensive songbook.

That's all the details we have so far but you can be sure that some of the show's most popular characters will be a part of the story including Bubblegum Princess, Ice King, B-Mo, Lady Rainicorn, Flame Princess and Peppermint Butler. Depending on how they develop the story it could well involve The Lich, Lemongrab, Tree Trunks or even Ricardio the Heart Guy. Whichever characters they go with this will no doubt be great fun and something to look forward to in the future.

We will, of course, bring you more graybles when the Cosmic Owl allows us.
