Watford fans react on Twitter to comeback against Leeds United in Championship

Watford came from two goals down to defeat Leeds United 3-2 at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday.

Watford staged one of the comebacks of the season on Saturday when they got the better of Leeds United 3-2 away from home in the Championship.

The Hornets headed into the clash at Elland Road on the back of a 3-0 victory over Rotherham United at Vicarage Road.

The game in Leeds was expected to be hugely entertaining and fiercely competitive, and it proved to be so.

Hosts Leeds went ahead as early as the seventh minute when Billy Sharp found the target from close range.

The West Yorkshire outfit doubled the tally on 19 minutes through a sensational volley from Rodolph Austin.

At that point, it looked as though Leeds would run away with the three points, but Watford staged a sensational comeback and won the game 3-2.

Troy Deeney halved the deficit in the 39th minute, and Matej Vydra equalised for the Hornets in the 56th minute.

Then, with nine minutes left on the clock, Vydra struck again, collecting Deeney's long pass and firing the ball home after his initial shot was saved by Marco Silvestri.

The win means that Watford are now fourth in the Championship table with 62 points from 34 matches, just three points behind leaders Derby County.

Following the match, Watford fans took to social networking site Twitter to revel in the win against Leeds.
