Tottenham were beaten 2-0 by Chelsea in the Capital One Cup final on Sunday. Here's how their players rated...
Hugo Lloris 6 - couldn't really do much about Chelsea's two deflected goals. Made a smart save from a Cesc Fabregas overhead kick in the second half.
Kyle Walker 6 - coped fairly well with Eden Hazard's movement, but got himself injured and then deflected Diego Costa's shot into his own night. Largely unfortunate.
Eric Dier 6 - was prepared to stand up to Diego Costa early on but was gradually dominated by the Chelsea striker - still showed some promise in his first cup final for Spurs.
Jan Vertonghen 6 - had some inconsistent moments in defence but was calm and assured in possession, bringing the ball out from the back on occasion.
Danny Rose 7 - one of Spurs' better players. Offered an attacking threat down the left hand side and caused the Chelsea defence problems.
Nabil Bentaleb 7 - so calm and composed on the ball. Makes Tottenham tick in midfield and once again showed why he's so highly rated at White Hart Lane.
Ryan Mason 6 - offered some energy in midfield but didn't do quite as much as Bentaleb. Didn't look overawed by the occasion before being substituted for Erik Lamela with 20 minutes to play.
Nacer Chadli 5 - fluffed his lines with a great chance at the back post in the second half. Didn't really threaten Branislav Ivanovic at all.
Christian Eriksen 6 - unlucky to see his free kick cannon back off the crossbar but was limited after that, flitting in and out of the game when Spurs needed a hero.
Andros Townsend 5 - plenty of running but offered little to no end product in a disappointing display. Was hauled off after an hour for Moussa Dembele.
Harry Kane 6 - foraged for scraps throughout and couldn't get on the scoresheet but worked hard and was only denied a goal by a great block from John Terry.
Erik Lamela 6 - bright when he came on and tried to make things happen without too much success, but offered more than Townsend.
Moussa Dembele 5 - didn't really impose himself on the game in his half an hour cameo. Needed to provide a spark for Tottenham from the bench but couldn't provide one.
Roberto Soldado - was only on the pitch for ten minutes and didn't really have enough time to make an impact.
