Swansea City fans rave about Lukasz Fabianski performance on Twitter

Near Goal - Chelsea

The former Arsenal stopper has been in great form this season.

Swansea City defeated Burnley yesterday in a tight encounter at Turf Moor. For Garry Monk it was another excellent result from his players, who have now capitalised on the recent poor form of West Ham United to overtake them into eighth place in the Premier League.

The game was won by a solitary goal, an own goal by Kieran Trippier of Burnley, but in truth it could have been a different story if it was not for Swansea goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.

The Polish stopper has been a shrewd acquisition from Arsenal since his contract ended at The Emirates in the summer. Swansea had lost Michel Vorm to Tottenham Hotspur, where he is now acting as back up to Hugo Lloris.

He made six saves in the game and was excellent when coming off his line for the ball when delivered into the box, an area of his game he has really improved on since arriving at the Liberty Stadium.
