Saido Berahino and Joleon Lescott react on Twitter to West Brom win, look ahead to Aston Villa

Trinity Road Stand - Aston Villa

The Baggies duo were delighted with their Southampton win but now face a 'massive week.'

West Brom duo Joleon Lescott and Saido Berahino were naturally delighted to have beaten such quality opposition in Southampton at the Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.

Both took to Twitter in celebration after Berahino scored West Brom's winner against the Saints, an important goal which secured an equally important result.

The Baggies are now up to 13th in the Premier League table, a full eight points above the relegation zone.

And defender Lescott congratulated young Berahino after his goal against Southampton, also looking ahead to a 'massive week.'

The week ahead is so important for West Brom because it involves two consecutive visits to Villa Park. In a rather strange situation, the Baggies travel to Aston Villa on Tuesday night for Premier League action. They then do the same on Saturday for the FA Cup quarter-final.

Both clashes are huge. Aston Villa are 19th in the standings and a win over their local rivals could mean big things when it comes to West Brom's survival chances. The cup clash, meanwhile, speaks for itself.

While West Brom beat Southampton at home on Saturday afternoon, Aston Villa lost 1-0 at Newcastle United.
