Report: Stuart Pearce favourite Robert Tesche set to be loaned out by Nottingham Forest

The German has not featured since Dougie Freedman took over at the club.

Nottingham Forest have been in great form since they replaced former boss Stuart Pearce with Dougie Freedman. They have won five out of six and scored 19 goals in the process.

But, as always with a new manager at the helm, there have been some significant changes to the team. That has left some players who couldn't buy a game playing regular football - such as Danny Collins.

It has also left others, who were playing regularly, in the wilderness.

One such player is midfielder Robert Tesche.

He was a regular under Pearce but Freedman wanted to freshen things up at the club and he has not played since he became boss.

Now it is reported he is on his way out of the club. It is reported by The Sun that Championship rivals Birmingham City are all set to sign him on loan until the end of the season.

They report that Birmingham will pay a portion of his wages and that Freedman is happy for him to join Gary Rowett's side.

The German midfielder is certainly talented, but it seems that Forest needed to change things around to freshen things up in the camp and get out of their Pearce rut.

But if he is loaned out, it is important to remember he only signed a one-year deal in the summer - so an exit on a free transfer in the summer would certainly seem likely.
